Junior WordPress Developer
Apexure is a UK-based leading agency specialising in high-converting Landing Pages, Websites, Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), and Marketing Automation. With team members across India, the Philippines, Bangladesh, and the UK, we are dedicated to designing and developing websites and landing pages that drive measurable results.
We seek a Junior WordPress Developer to join us and strengthen our Web Development Department.
Responsibilities:
Find joy in building smart interfaces by converting Figma designs into responsive WordPress templates with precision and creativity.
Implementing responsive web design practices.
Care about modern best practices, including code reviews, continuous integration and deployment, and iterative development.
Value mentorship, learning, and sharing knowledge.
Skill Requirements:
Candidate must have:
HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery – Basic understanding of front-end technologies for styling and interactivity.
PHP & MySQL – Knowledge of PHP (WordPress core language) and basic database management with MySQL.
WordPress Theme Development – Ability to modify and customise themes using child themes.
WordPress Plugin Development – Understanding of how to install, configure, and modify plugins.
Gutenberg & Page Builders – Familiarity with Elementor, Divi, or WPBakery.
Basic SEO Knowledge – Understanding of SEO-friendly development practices.
Experience:
1-2 years of experience in a Web Agency or as a Freelancer
